At Buckaroo, we have always believed that footwear is more than what you wear—it is confidence, dignity, freedom, and the ability to move forward. That belief became the foundation of Fit My Feet, a purpose-led initiative created in collaboration with McCann Worldgroup India.

Across India, countless people live with foot conditions that make walking painful. Many simply cannot access affordable, properly fitted footwear. Fit My Feet set out to change that.

Working alongside orthopaedic experts, footwear designers, and a network of more than 4,500 local cobblers, the initiative introduced a simple yet powerful solution: low-cost, custom footwear kits that enabled cobblers to create made-to-measure flip-flops using accessible tools and easy-to-follow techniques.

More than 228,000 pairs of custom-made shoes were distributed across India, helping thousands regain comfort, mobility, and independence. At the same time, the initiative empowered local artisans with new skills and opportunities, proving that meaningful innovation doesn't always come from complex technology—it often begins with empathy.
